On the authority of Anas (radiAllahu anhu), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wasallam) say:
“Allah the Almighty said:
‘O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it.’”

Whether you consider it big or small, a good deed is still a good deed. And He sees everything that you do so inshaaAllah you will get rewarded for every little thing! Just think of gaining His pleasure while doing it.
We are only in this world for a specified term; for a short period of time. What do you do when you know that you’re not going to be somewhere for a long period of time? You go and you do what needs to be done. You don’t waste time, you don’t get distracted, you don’t get off track. Why? Because you know your time is limited. So let’s stop acting like we’re going to be on this Earth forever and inshaaAllah let’s prepare for the next life which is indeed better and more enduring.
